Center Announces Delta as First Recipent of "Champions for Native Youth Award"

The Center for Native American Youth is pleased to announce Delta Air Lines as the first recipient of the “Champions for Native Youth Award”. The Center for Native American Youth is deeply grateful to Delta Air Lines for their generous travel contributions which supported eight outreach trips to Indian Country over the Center’s first year. These contributions have enabled the Center’s team to personally connect with countless tribal leaders, parents, children and outside partners across the country.

In its efforts to address the diverse challenges facing Native American youth, the Center remains committed to developing meaningful partnerships which drive new attention, stakeholders and resources to accomplish broad and impactful efforts that improve the lives of Native youth. The Champions for Native Youth Award was created to recognize these new stakeholders who have joined the conversation and honors these organizations and individuals who have made a commitment to and positive impact on young people in Indian Country.

Delta Air Line’s donation for travel allowed the Center to extend and focus its resources and attention on substantive initiatives aimed at improving the lives of American Indian children. Thank you to Delta for your dedication to making a difference in the lives of Native youth!
